At Advanced Steel Technology, we offer fully automated robotic welding as a component of our comprehensive steel cutting and part fabrication services. In addition to the work cells in our Georgia plant, we have a facility located in Mexico fully equipped with a modern multi-axis robotic MIG welding line capable of joining parts fabricated from A36, A572 Grade 50, heat treated quench, and tempered steels to create subassemblies for your application.

Outfitted with automatic positioners, these CNC controlled robotic welders are capable of highly accurate, multi-axis motion, which allows them to produce smooth, precise welds on parts held at any angle. Other advantages of robotic operation also include fast cycle rates, complete consistency, and excellent repeatability. They are able to handle parts measuring from 12 inches square all the way up to 12 ft x 14 ft with exceptional precision. Quality control measures include AWS-certified weld inspectors who both visually and optically inspect each weld to ensure its quality and validate its long-term integrity.
